I’m probably going to be sewing. It’s winter, cold stuck in the house. So, I tend to get more done during this time of the year. Don’t have the pull to do outside stuff. Plus we are on a lockdown. My daughter has Covid. And my grandson came over on Tuesday. She said she feels like a little cold. But, we need to isolate just in case.
I should be able to bring the quilt I’ve been working on to my longarm quilter this week. So. I’ll need to think about what I want to dive into next.
And that football thing. We had a boy play football for 7 years. He was in the first string. I never figured out what was going on. They ran to the right then ran to the left. My concern was that he not get hurt. Everyday I would tell him “Don’t break anything “.

Neither of us have ever had any interest in football. I will sew as usual and ny Husband will watch TV as usual. It has been miserable cold.

I'm a big KC Chiefs fan, so naturally I'll be watching the game, but I am always ready for a VQW! I've been working on my FMQ'ing, so a full weekend to just concentrate on that would be fabulous!

I'll be watching Kansas win while doing some cross-stitch or quilt binding.

I will be cutting the 2.5 squares for the 2021/2022 Birthday Swap on Super Bowl Sunday. I started doing this about 6 years ago and it works "Super"!. I can create a major mess, cut and organize piles of little squares and clean up in one sporting event. This year I have ignored football but still like the crazy silliness of this sporting event.

Teach in years past I'd follow 7 teams: AZ, CO, 2 in TX, KCC, MN, WI (used to live in MN and WI). This year none. Always watch the Super Bowl looking for the Clydesdale horses and I'd usually cry. This year I'll sew and listen or maybe check the score occasionally and then watch the last quarter.

DH read online the price for tickets. Quote from web site:
Super Bowl 55 tickets cost $5286...EACH... and up. FOR A GAME!!! What I could do with $5200.00!

I plan to quilt a lap quilt or two. I'm really good at creating UFOs but not so good at getting them quilted on my little machine.
