Default waiting for my bernina 830 to come

I've just bought and waiting for delivery on Wednesday a pre loved bernina 830 with its embroidery unit etc from a shop and it looks scary. I'm sooo excited but a little scared if I'm going to be disappointed because of the hype around this machine. Has anyone got this beast and is it all what its hyped up to be ?

yes my mom has one ans she loves it. Just don't get overwhelmed - learn the things to you will do basically every day and then start venturing forth. Remember in addiiton to the manual, Bernina's website (think it is www.berninausa.com has lots of information and I know that they do a free embroidery design monthly (I think it is every month). Make sure you take the classes if they are available.

I have n 830 and really like it. Just be sure to take all the classes that the shop offers, you will be glad you did. At my shop you can attend classes as many times as you want and I have taken repeat classes and still learned something new each time. Join the Yahoo 830, lots of good ideas and help if your are having problem
