Ours never left, but I can imagine the turmoil that would have caused if it did. We have 2 LQS here, and they are expensive. I have noticed that they have done some re-arranging and it seems like the shelves are fuller now. WTG Wal-Mart!

I was in the Lacey, WA store today and they have just put in a real fabric area -- bolts and bolts -- some quilting quality, lots of kid designs and flannels

I am so glad ours is coming back! I have to say that i am rather shocked that they are bringing them back, i thought that would have been a done deal no matter how much people complained they would not have brought them back but i guess not :)

I read about this a couple of months ago. WalMart had lost many customers after they removed some items, and they had plans to return 8500 products to the shelves. We have a new WalMart that didn't have fabric to begin with so I doubt that they put it in my store. However, there are two stores within 15-20 miles and both had fabric departments, so I'm hoping they return fabrics to those stores.

they took out the by the yard and put in precuts so i am assuming we will be getting the by the yard fabrics back. I have heard that since they have remodeled our store and removed the fabric dept. that our store has lost lots of money.
