I like sleeves better than triangles. Sleeves will fit on different rod sizes. The sleeve is about one inch smaller than width of wallhanging. I sew it onto the back and then fold the binding (sewn on front first) to the back.

I also like the hangers with clips for easy changes of wall hangings.

So much depends on the wall hanging. My favorite Christmas wall hanging has loops and hangs on a dowel. I have 2 with sleeves. and the one I am making right now will also have a sleeve. However the idea of Command Hooks is also appealing.

I use corner triangles a lot! I hang my seasonal wall hangings in my entryway, on the doors. Because my entry door and garage service door are metal, I use magnets to hold them up. I also put the triangles on the bottom corners, so the hanging is secured to the door and holds tight through all the comings and goings.

I struggled with this when I was making a hanging to go on an interior apartment door. A lot of the Command hooks and strips say not to use on fabric, and it was likely a heavy fire door that could slam.

So I found a video where someone took the Command picture hangers, peeled the glue off the velcro picture part, and sewed the velcros on the back of the hanging in all 4 corners. Despite my best efforts, the velcros weren't parallel or straight, but there was enough wiggle room to allow the strips to put level on the door and the hanging just pressed onto it.

I use the corner hanger and a dowel on small wall hanging and a sleeve on all the others. I did use loops on one I have.

If its a small wallhanging I use just the corner triangles but if its longer than 25 inches I'll add a 2 inch sleeve at the middle section to run the dowel rod thru so it doesn't droop. Has worked so far this way for me.

I made a wall hanging for my grandson and put a sleeve on the top in the back. He got a "manly" curtain rod and hung it.
