I made some wall hangings for Christmas and I am ready to bind them but not sure it I should add sleeves to the back at the top only or top and bottom or should I just make those little corner triangles that will hold a dowel. One is 17” x 31” and the other is 20” x 48”.
How do you hang your wall hangings?

I prefer the corner triangles myself, but I'm sure you'll get lots of preferences.

I use command strips, 9 or 12 lb ones work super. Never had a problem with using this method.

What do you put on the back of the wall hanging - sleeve with dowel or triangle pieces in the corners with a dowel , or is there another method?

for me it depends upon the size--smaller ones I use corners and a small dowel that can hang with just one hook. If larger then I put a sleeve on.

I do corner triangles with tabs to make sure the dowel and w/h hang right. Sometimes depending on the size the quilt may droop so loops will give a straight line across the top

I like using corner pieces. They are fast to make and use less fabric. If the handing can be hung vertically or horizontally, then I add four corner pieces, and the owner can choose which way to hang it. Or if it is a large hanging, a bottom dowel gives the hanging more stability.

I use the corner triangles with a paint stick for the brace in smaller ones, and hung by Command Hooks as my husband doesn't like me to put nails in the walls.
