we never lost our fabric department but the new stuff coming in is a higher quality then they carried a few years back.

you're gonna be very happy with the new changes.

Our Walmart fabric dept. never did close and I am thankful! It could stand a bit of improvement though. I am glad for those with stores that are bringing 'new and improved' fabric departments back!

I was in a Wal-Mart store in far North dallas or maybe Plano and they had fabric shape cut rulers were also on sale for $13. Some of the fabric was standard Wal-Mart quality but some of it was nicer. Haven't been to my own Wal-Mart here in Lewisville in a couple of weeks but will have to check it out.

Last week I went to mine and it had a cutting table
a couple days later all the prepackaged stuff was in the isle

    then this week
    Bolts and bolts of fabric
and interfacings *LOL* bolts of that too
one guy was standing at the cutting table putting price tags on
and I really thought we would get left out.....
Going on Sunday to see if it is finished.........Rita

Our fabric department never closed and they always kept a pretty good inventory. We get the bonus of they're finally turning our store into a Super Walmart.
