there was another thread on here about the OK towns that still had fabric in their WM's...need to find it...I know here in ENid, we lost Hancocks, WM and two independent fabric stores all in the same 2 year period...we so NEED fabric up here...

I was very happy when Frankenmouth MI won their fight to keep a Wal-Mart out of their town.

I used to live in Pigeon...I saw how many stores closed in Bad Axe when WM came to town....sad really, because that WM was never any good...but everyone in the Thumb seemed to shop there even the Amish in the fall...

here is something else to consider...when they say they are bring back BOLTS of fabric what exactly does that mean??

Here they brought in two large boxes of BOLTS of fabric and you had to buy the whole bolt and it was like really crappy costume making fabrics...with NO information as to content etc....

so be very careful what you ask for..you might be shocked at what you get!

Severn is a ways from me. I live in upper Harford county near the PA line. They were building one in Fallston and I believe it has opened just recently. I haven't been there yet to check it out. The closest to us before that was Shrewsbury PA. I've been buying my material in Ocean City MD. since we're at the beach a lot.

We asked our store manager, she said this will be rural areas and certain regions, but not suburban stores ... and I wonder what they mean by "bolts" ? hope it's not just that icky pre-packaged bolt stuff ...
and they NEVER took fishing equip from our stores here, just fabrics & sewing :(

I just called my Walmart and the manager told me that our Superstore would not be bringing it back, but said the one in Port Richey still has one, it is rural.
P.R. is 45 minutes from me.
