the two Walmarts within driving distance of me that still carry fabric bolts, seem to be stocking a nicer quality. i have bought a lot lately from them. the ones that carry the prepacked stuff is horrid. I dont' go to those stores at all anymore. I hope all the stores get fabric back.

I wouldn't mind boycotting them, but the store is in a location that I have to pass to get gas, most of my groceries etc. And Lowes and where I get my hair cut and the pet food store are all in the same shopping center, so it is difficult to just drive by without going in to check for bargains. But I avoid the crafts dept. They are also the only store that has my favorite white chocolate Reeses Peanut Butter Cups; can't eat chocolate.

Our Walmart still has fabric. There was talk of remodeling and removing fabric, but they're still getting new bolts.

I just saw on the the news this morning that they are returning 8,100 items that they had previously removed from their stores because their sales were down a LOT. Obviously, you can't buy what isn't there.

Once they removed the fabric from our Walmart, I stopped going. It was the only reason I found to shop there. By watching the sales, I found I could do just as well shopping at other stores.

Yippeee!! I was so bummed when they took out the sewing departments and just had that craft section that was about as big as the soup section in the grocery part!!

one of the Walmarts near here carrys fabric...but the quality is awful. I used to go there before they stopped carrying decent fabric...and spent plenty of money on things in the rest ofthe store. I have been in the store 1 time since before Christmas.
