Been about 3 weeks since I have been in Walmart. Went today and oh my!!! Fabric galore! Associate told me the back was full of fabric and nowhere to put it. Waiting on new shelving. She was kind enough to take my number and will call me when she puts out the flannel. I am one happy camper as what I saw today, the fabric quality is really good. So good to have that department again. Nice just to look around and talk to customers about their projects. Just a great morning! I am motivated to really get something sewn tomorrow as I have not been in a sewing mood lately.

I'm waiting for ours to be reset/enlarged! Should be done in about 3 - 4 weeks. I work in the fabric department! Love it! And love being able to tell the customers we are GROWING!

Isn't it just amazing how just looking at fabric can inspire us?

Ours is back too! YEA! the area is quite small right now, compared to what they had before they took it away. But I am pleased that I now have a local option even if it is limited. I am happy!! :)

They are working on putting up the shelving for the fabric at my Walmart.
We spoke....they listened! Oh the power of quilting and sewers across America! :)

Word is that we're supposed to be getting our fabric section back and they're downsizing the housewares section to make room for it (like we need 4 brands of towels anyways!) Least that's what I've heard from other associates.

Got ours back last week. They have the fabric bolts in 2 aisles, along part of a 3rd aisle & on the end of another. The cutting table is very small, with no room to lay anything else but a bolt of fabric. The good part is they have people from different departments that can cut fabric. Selection is pretty good & I found quality to be good as well.
