Some Walmarts have a fabric section and I used to find some nice fabrics there. It's been awhile since I bought some there and when I went there recently was surprised at how the prices went up. They seem to be pricier than JoAnn fabrics!! Has anyone else noticed the price hike in Walmart fabrics???

It has gone up at our Walmart also. Prices range from $4.45 to $5.45. I did find some very nice 4th of July fabrics for $2.96 and it feels great, soft and silky.

I got some cow print fabric there to make some curtains for my kitchen. It was $4.96 a yard but very nice quality and a good weighty feel to it.

I am so loving that they are now bringing back good quality fabric to Walmart.

I found some fabrics for $2/yard at the Freehold, NJ Walmart. Some were on sale from $4+, others $2 was the original price. Haven't seen those prices in the Myrtle Beach, SC, store lately, so was real pleased to see them in the Freehold store.

    I'm not complaining!
