After reading yesterday about Walmart expanding their fabric section, I took a little drive over there after work. Look what I bought for $44 - 28 yards of fabric ranging from $1. - $3 a yard.

I can't believe it, not I can quilt all spring. (:0)

Awesome. I heard Walmart was either expanding or bringing back fabrics. I hope to see more there too. You have fun sewing. The closest Walmart to me is an hour away so has anybody been to the Spokane or Airway Heights Walmarts to see if they are going back to fabrics?

I hope my Walmart brings back the fabric department. What a great deal you got.

My Wal-Mart never got rid of the department. Once in a while I do find something new there. For some reason they seem to be getting in alot of fleece. I bet there are at least 60-70 bolts of fleece. As far as the new stuff coming in, most of it is a cotton blend. I never see the fabric that is posted on here at my store. Hopefully things will change.
