Ok I love the pattern. Gotta have that one. Where did you get it? PM me with the info. I am the queen of almost having enough fabric. I've come up short by a hair so many times I can't count them. Now I estimate and add a yard. The last quilt I just finished I had about a 6"X 4"" piece left and that was with what I thought was over buying. I guess I'm going to have add 1 and 1/2 yds. Most of the time I don't have a Pattern that tells how much of each fabric to buy. I do OK with those. It's when I have a square pattern and need to make a certain amount and add border etc. Show us pictures when you're done.

The solid red is usually a stock color,or would not be that noticeable, I would buy a red and white print in the right amount. Or use the fabric in another pattern and start again with this pattern about now I would be agravated and change it all to blue or purple oe green or pink  thats me

I love that pattern too. I just copied the photo and will make my own pattern. Take a close look at it. It's really not difficult to copy.

Have you started to cut yet? I had a pattern that I had been carrying in my purse for about a year, finally got the fabric with the exact cuts that the pattern called for. I probably had 2X as much fabric as I really needed. I am really careful about my cutting, bigger sizes first, etc. But I could have made at least double the blocks from each fabric. You may have enough fabric without realizing it.
