I hope it wins Best Of Show! I'm taking a three (3) day class with her in November and I can hardly wait. I've been a huge fan of her's for about 5 years now and try to emulate her teaching in all my quilting. Her methods aren't hard, just very time consuming. As you can see from her gallery, it is so worth it. The first time I ever saw her was in Paducah quilting on a Juki in her booth and I just stood there watching her with my mouth gapping open. Her daughter saw me and asked if she could help. Needless to say that before I left her booth I had purchased every little tool she was using (magic genies, halo, teflon slider, plus stabilizer, 2 books, several cd's and patterns. I go to her free website every month to see what's new. Guess I should stop rambling - I know you can tell Sharon is my quilting guru/idol.

I am going to take pictures of it when I go. Hope I can find it. I usually buy a book when I get there. Awesome quilt.

Please don't say that; Sharon's work is very intense but I can tell you that I have talked to her twice; once in her booth in Paducah and once at a lecture she was doing at a guild and she spreads her quilts out everywhere and encourages everyone to touch them! She has a very kind and loving spirit and it is truly conveyed in her work and in her person. I hope one day you will have a chance to meet this wonderfully talented and sweet quilter.

Just to show the scale of the work (or if on fabric, the size of the print in comparison to the size of the quarter). Not a dumb question; I didn't know for the first few years that I quilted either.

Pardon me while I pick up my teeth off the floor. I can't even imagine doing something like that. Way out of my league.
