    Question Warm and Plush Batting?

    Hi,

I picked up a Warm and Plush batting today at JoAnns. It's made by the Warm company.
The package says it's a luxury loft, slightly thicker than warm and natural. I plan on using it in a UFO and renting time on a LA to quilt it. Kind of a win-win thing, finish larger UFOs while gaining some skill on a LA.

Has anyone used this batting? Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

I haven't used it myself but I know a few people who have and they really liked it.

I have used this batting and really like it a lot. it's about half again as thick as W&N, and a bit fluffier. Quilting dimension is great. It does not have a scrim, so you have to quilt it much closer than W&N. I think 6" (W&N is 10). Also, basting spray won't work with it, but will be great on the long arm.

I used basting spray on it, but I also pin-no issues and no shifting. I thought it was very linty compared to regular warm and natural, but it definitely is thicker and warmer too. Quilted like butter for me.

No I haven't used it yet. I will look for it next time I am in JAF.

I've used it and really like it. I will use it on the quilt I will be LA'ing today because the top and back are batik and tend to feel quite thin with regular W&N.
