Everything is wonderful but I especially love the Hunter's Star. You do beautiful work. I'd put a dark border.

Nice quilts. I would certainly do a dark border on the brown hunters star.

Your Hunters Star is especially nice... your seams and points look so crisp and perfect. I might have to add this pattern to my list.

Such a beautiful job on that quilt! Dark is my vote. That baby will never lack for "wraps of love".

Thank you for all the nice comments and the suggestions...Dina Never thought of putting a green outer border, but like the idea. I think I am going for the dark brown border with a light border binding.
tessagin, I didn't use any ready rulers. I usually just use a pic and then decide what size I want to work with or what size I want the outcome... I have only 3 rulers; 6x36, 3x24 & 6.5x6.5.Thank you again.

I see you have made your decision, but I have to tell you about a border I have made a few times. I put a very narrow border of the dark, another very narrow border of the light and another wide border of the dark. It looks like the dark border has been divided. Then I would keep the dark color to the end, as don't change the color for the binding. The binding would be the same color as the last wide border. Just another idea.

I love your quilts. Your Hunter's Star is perfect & I also would go with a darker border to frame that beautiful quilt.
Your gr. grandson is one lucky little boy.
