Your quilts are all beautiful, you have been busy for sure. For the Hunters Star I think I'd do a darker border also.

Your points are just PERFECT!!!! Great job! Glad you decided on dark...as in painting- a dark border draws the eye into the main event!!

I love your Hunter's Star. I have one on my TO DO list and have been trying to figure out what fabric and what colors I want to use. For some reason I haven't considered fabric with a pattern but your quilt has given me another option to think about. Thanks for the inspiration.

When I have the abiity to choose (enough fabric LOL) I always go with a darker border with the darkest yet for the binding. Why? No idea LOL just do!

Then I would keep the dark color to the end, as don't change the color for the binding. The binding would be the same color as the last wide border. Just another idea.
This is exactly what I would do. I think doing it this way would provide the most interest and give your lovely hunter's star the most pizzazz.

I also like the idea of putting a green border on the warm wishes. Such nice quilts, all of them!
