I was reading back a few pages and saw the thread about a fire caused by a potato bag used in the microwave. There was one comment about a fire starting even after the bag was removed from the microwave. I'm sending out a big THANK YOU to everyone who posted there. I am on oxygen and do almost all my cooking with the microwave for safety reasons. I was thinking of making myself one of these bags. I shudder to think what could have happened if I used one of these bags and it caught fire in my hands and the oxygen blew up in my face. SO GLAD I saw that thread!

I thought there were OK as long as you use 100% cotton batting, or batting that is made for that purpose?
