I do my drapes in the dryer to collect the dust and then wash them. The dust get into the fibers, so whirl them in the dryer first.

Yeah, I guess the sun could be the culprit cos I sometimes hang it out in the sun to dry. Should I always dry quilts in the shade?

I do not have a dryer at home, hence could only tumble dry and hang it out to dry.

What kind of mild soap should I use? Any particular brand?
