Took a class today in watercolor quilting...lots of fun! After looking thru 300 (!) 3 in squares, we ordered them light to dark...then put them on our felt design board in a 10 x 10 grid. Sewing them and keeping them in order is a challenge! Certainly have more appreciation for those quilts...

When I did my watercolor which is posted We cut 2 inch sqs and bought 2 inch grid which has one side that you press your sq onto and sticks...Then when your design is totally on the grid you turn over and easily sew it together with perfect seams...Grid sold at Joann's.
    Makes it so easy
