    Mine was dry clean only and it's fine. Washing it removes any fabric stain protector etc. Which you wouldn't want on quilts anyway.

    I would try a sample block first... the heavier fabric, and where all of the seams meet, may be problematic.

    I use home decor fabric for a lot of totes. I haven't had any problems with washing it and it is very easy to work with. Don't know about doing something with lots of overlapping seams as I have not tried that.
