    If she wants you to just do 'the best you can' I would charge extra. It's going to take you additional time to manipulate the fullness.
    If you have any, I would add a layer of a fluffier batting just on the borders, and quilt a piano key easing the fullness as you go.

    Her solution to the prob is excellent.....and the finished quilt is lovely....when I run across a wavy border along with planning a design that will "eat" that fullness, I will raise my speed just a bit...more stitches per inch will also pull in some of that fullness....

    I'm glad you called her to have her fix the borders. I think you did both of you a favor, she learns why the borders need to be done right, and you have saved yourself a big headache both now and in the future!!

    I have had to send quite a few people to the border tutorial. See the links forum.
