    I very rarely pin. And when I do it is just long enough to hold my sandwich together until I can get started quilting it.

    I think I am allergic to pins! I use them as little as possible. Haven't tried the glue trick yet...just one more thing I would have to track down to use. Maybe someday I'll try it.

    I glue baste. Everything always matches with glue.

    I use Elmer's School Glue. It's really a heavy starch not glue at all. It washes out even after ironing it dry. Any good fabric basting glue will work but Elmer's is cheap and sold everywhere.

    Seldom to never pin ... exception is in attaching borders, sashings.
