LOL...I don't pin much, only when matching seams in a long strip. However, I was taking a class last week and when the instructor watched me not pinning she said "Pinners are winners!" All this week in the classes I taught, I told the participants, "pinners are winners" and we laughed!

I pin as little as possible, even for long seams. My SIL asked me, "Are you supposed to sew from across the room?"

Or you could use glue every so many inches...it washes out

I'm with you. As I'm sewing I hate that I do over pin because of having to stop and remove pins but I can't help myself.

    LMAO!

I'm laughing because I do the EXACT same thing. I can't just put two pieces of fabric together and zip them through my machine. Need at least three pins---one on each end and one in the middle. I try to do without pins and the pieces decide they want to shift. Not sure why. I watch quilting tutorials where they just put the pieces through and not pin them and I go "Oh my God! How are they doing that without anything shifting?!"

I never thought about using a glue stick instead of pins! I'm going to try that. Thanks for the tip, Debbie.
