I buy what I like in color/pattern and feel. I have a hard time in material stores not buying everything I like. I try to limit myself to project in mind but always end up with something I love the feel of(stash)

Not so much manufacturers for me although Moda always seems to have wonderful fabrics, but there are a few designers that I love and always tend to buy in abundance from. April Cornell would be one, Kansas Troubles Quilters would be another. Also Sandy Gervais is one of my all time favorites, I think I love just about everything she puts out...and Miss Lynette Jenson from Thimbleberries never seems to put out a collection that I don't adore and feel the need to own. ;)

I like them all - but have favorite designers.

this is funny, coz i was just telling my sewing buddies that i do not know how people can remember all the names of fabric manufacturers, or identify a, lets say, moda fabric!! so yes you guessed it, i do not buy per a manufacture, i buy coz i like the fabric, and i think it will look good in a future project (whatever that may be...LOL).....gina

Moda, P&B Textiles, Red Rooster, RJR & Connecting Threads - those are my favorites for print styles and fabric texture/weight/hand.

There are other companies which produce prints that I love, but I don't like the weight or feel of the fabric.
