I have two weddings to go to in October and I've got it in mind to do a couple of small picture quilts as wall hangings. Has anyone done one of these? I was wondering if anyone had any clever designs.

hmmm... New bride here! I really wouldn't want my wedding guests to decide what I should hang on the wall, but I would have loved it if I had been given some table runners! They are so necessary and so versatile.

I wanted to use pictures of the bride and groom to make a wall hanging. I have a beautiful table runner and two little kids and they just do not mix. It's put away until I'm an empty nester!

How about a throw in neutral colors for their living room? They will use it. Back it with fleece. I say this because I have been getting raves about the last 2 I made.

I am making a wall hanging for a couple who just got married. I am using their favorite wedding pictures and framing them with the colors she chose for her wedding. I will make a pieced border, haven't figured out exactly what kind yet. This couples wedding colors, will they work with their decor?

My very 1st quilt I made for was for a wedding gift. They loved it.

How about making a single size (like a twin) quilt for them?

Or you could get a card and write on it that you would like to make something of their choice for them.

Great ideas, everyone! I think a snuggle blanket built for two would be nice. For watching tv, reading, etc. A bit larger than lap size but not bed size. You could incorporate colors from the wedding, pictures, funny novelty prints, etc. I'm sure anything you make will be treasured! Crock pots are very nice, but I would have been over the moon with a handmade quilt!
