Wedding Quilt

Why not try a Celebrations Quilt. I ordered the pattern from this website.

I haven't made it yet but it has templates for wedding, birthday, baby and graduation as well as numbers. This is for a wall hanging but you could add rows and make a quilt.

Thank you so much. I love Quilt in a Day, will have to check it out. My daughter had the idea to do a double wedding ring in the center and then border it with the True Lovers Knot. I thought that sounded like a good idea.

There is another pattern using Quiltsmart which is super easy, fun and appropriate for weddings. It's called the Love Ring, which is a variation of a drunkard's path. No worries though, because there is no curved piecing and while it looks complicated, it's very easy. You can use any colors - but it's fun to use the colors of the wedding or a favorite fabric collection. I wrote the pattern for them a long time ago, so I am biased, but it turns out to be a lovely quilt.

If you are new to quilting I would stay away from curves that's why the wedding ring pattern isn't a good idea.
You might think about a double Irish Chain.......
Hope this helps you.... ScrapQuilter
