Weekend sewing plans??
#43
We started our own group similar to a Project Linus. We are called Threads of Hope and we meet monthly and send about 200-300 quilts each year for babies in need throughout our state (MN). We only have a few ladies that participate but we really accomplish a lot.

We had a charity day at my quilt guild last weekend so worked on those then.. brought home some fabric & got one small rag quilt done & working on another.. guess I had better figure out what I am doing with the other fabric & get started on it also... good luck with you Quilt Linus day, it makes you feel so good when you know that someone will be wrapping up in that quilt that you made & hopefully feeling a little better knowing someone is thinking of them..

I plan to finish putting together the quilt top I'm making for my son, including the borders so I can get it reading to be quilted. Hopefully I can have it qulted by next weekend and get it finished. I have to start a crib quilt for my nephew's soon to be born baby boy.
