    yes, the outter border is 1/2 square triangles- had just enough of those 2 fabrics to accomplish going around the quilt---most of the time i really hate making bunches of 1/2 square triangles but wanted to go around it one more time & did n't have enough fabric to really do anything different that i could think of at the time- so....
    at least i am making a dent in the scrap piles! now- to find something to use for a back...
    and the sunburst blocks in the corners- almost didn't use those---but glad i decided to include them now after the fact- used up a couple other scraps with those- & made 5- not 4---the 2nd one was too small somehow---luckily had just enough to make an extra without having to come up with something else--it was a close call...scrappy quilts are such a great challenge- having to find ways to make what you have work...
