I would do two contrasting FMQ approaches to highlight the contrast between the print and the background fabrics. Maybe pebbles vs. etch-a-sketch, or wavy organic lines vs. swirls. This would be a great quilt to perfect your FMQ skills on. While stitch in the ditch is a safe option lots of times, it wouldn't really make this quilt shine, in my opinion.

Must say, your quilt looks great! Very modern, I'd say. So, did your furbaby get in trouble or something? Remember, "Nobody puts Baby in the corner."

Looks great - I would be tempted to do SID, as it would be easy and get the quilt done quickly, plus making the design stand out.

I think Hot Rod, my faithful quilt inspector, was just in shock that this one looks so different than my others.

I would agree with echo quilting or if you do SID used one of your decorative stitches to give it some accent....especially on the white fabric....

I loved the "nobody puts baby in the corner" in this quilt's discussion. I am of the mind that some mentioned SITD all around the purple, and squiggly stuff in the white. Have fun, whatever you do.

It looks great. Maybe the cat is protecting it from whomever he thinks is coming in the door!

Loved your quilt in Part 1 and really like it in Part 2. Can't wait to see it in Part 3.

And I agree, your cat is just letting us know he is gorgeous from all sides!
