scrap quilter! I've been freecycling and got some fabric scraps. Several boxes actually. I stuck them in the laundry room with the intention of going thru them and organizing them. Well dh got tired of the boxes and came home this morning with some totes. They're still not organized by color like I intended but I have uhhhmmmm 6 totoes of scraps. And I'm not allowed to buy any fabric he says till I use some of that. Shhhhhh! Don't tell him that in June dd and I will be going to Mary Jo's with a bunch of other quiltaholics! I think I can sneak it all in n a clear tub and stick it in the laundry room! :-D

Make a place mat. Then you've met his requirement!

My DH is wondering when I will have enough fabric. So am I! I stopped at the LQS today and managed to walk out with all the money I went in with...

all this was really crammed in a few boxes and I just didn't realize there was so much. Of course I found some that would work on the quilt I'm making now (Roll, Roll, Cotton Boll from Bonnie Hunter) so I had to pull it out! lol!

Just wrap a few shirts around it --he will think it is laundry.

You only have to use "some" between now and June? If you have a project on the table already I'd stop and make a quick mug rug or pot holder :)
