    I admire ANYONE who attempts a DEAR JANE!! I just do not believe I would have the patience. No way!!

    Good for you! I took works in progress to my husband's appointments before and after multiple back surgeries. Had such fun conversations as a result! Made the time pass so much faster, too.

    I love your positive and creative use of your time.

    When I had an active medical practice I was able to get several of my patients reading more. As they found out I was an avid reader they would bring their books to our appointments and then I'd make a point to briefly discuss with them what they were reading. The waiting room discussions were a hoot too.


    Maybe you are just the inspiration for a budding quilter is looking for

    I'm with you on this! I knit in doctors offices ... literally in the examining room until the doc some in! Please post your progress...love to see it! Good luck to your son with his therapy!

    I believe the blocks come out to be either 4" or 4 1/2" There are books and software to make this quilt and it gives you the history of the quilt.

    Well, certainly the others waiting you are not quilters. Now if I had been there, we would have been friends quickly and had a myriad of things to talk about. Then again ~ you probably would not have accomplished a lot. I will be anxiously awaiting pics of you progress.
