Red face Went to my Quilting Class today

    Hi Everyone

I went to my Quilting Class this afternoon at my Library. The lady that is the instructor for this class does this twice a month on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I just started going to this as of today. I took my Quilting stuff and I cut out the center for the Triangles that I showed last week or the week before. I finally found the template for that and I spent all afternoon cutting those out. I cut out 24 of those today. I am cutting them out of Red Material. All of my Triangles will have Red as the Center.

It is so nice to go and be among other Quilters and see what they are making. We have a huge Study Room that we use at the Library and it has all kinds of Electrical Outlets so we bring our Irons, Sewing Machines, and cutting mats/rotary cutters and so forth and just sit and work on our own quilt. We had a great enjoyable time today at the Quilting Class. There are 4 of us altogether which is just the right amount of people for the size of room that we use.

I will be working on my Quilt tomorrow as well too over at my church - my church has a Quilting/Sewing room and its a good size room too. We have huge tables, sewing machines, ironing board, shelves, a huge cabinet and all of that. It is so nice to just go and work in the Quilting Room at my church.

Tonight is the my County Quilt Club Meeting but due to Freezing Rain I won't be going. It is cold enough to snow but my area is suppose to get Freezing Rain.

Well that is all for now...I will take a picture of my Red Center Pieces sometime on Thursday.

I've held a few quilting retreats at my churchm but we don't have a room w can devote solely to quilting. I wish we did. How nice it would be not to have to carry EVERYTHING back and forth from home.

I always enjoy whatever classes I take. It's so nice to be with other like minded individuals doing something we all like.
