Went to Quilts and Quilts in Branson
I went to Springfield, Mo yesterday and got a quilting frame I had found on Craigslist. On my way home I decided to stop at Quilts and Quilts in Branson. WOW! What a store! They have a lot of quilts in there and even more fabric and patterns and books and supplies. Quilting templates, oh my do they have the templates! I don't know how anyone could even make up their mind! I left without buying thing!
Then I had to drive all the way home in sleet, freezing rain and snow! The sleet was hitting the car so hard it sounded like hail!! I live in Arkansas about 3 hours from Branson.
But, I did get my frame! Got a Little Gracie. Now looking for a machine to put on it.

Vickie, that's the way I feel sometimes about having so many choices unless I have a specific project I choosing fabric for. I just walk out empty handed. I'm glad you made it home safe. We live in the SW corner of AR and it's been cold and a little rain, but not winter mix.

Vickie, I was born and raised in NW Arkansas but have spent the last 40 years or so here in North Central Florida. I cannot tell you how many times we've crossed the state between Memphis and Fort Smith with freezing rain and sleet, together with snow! It can really be treacherous! Sure glad you made it home safely!
