I went shopping too....but not with Henry! I see he was shopping again today..... :) I finally got to a Jo-Ann's. I was so overwhelmed I didn't know what I wanted. I did get a few things though. My two most favorite purchases was the sidewinder, and the round rubber bobbin holder. I already tried them both and I love them. I used to store my bobbins in a little flat plastic case and I had to pick them out to look at the colors, with this little gadget they are on their side and I can see what I need easily.

I also picked up alot of the little flat quarters that were only a 1.49 so I can use them for the BOM's or to practice with. I even got 3 bundles packaged with several colors together. Can't wait to sew now.

I am off tomorrow and intend to sew....... :D

I need to go to the fabric store today also. I don't think my haul will be as productive as yours, however. I need to get light and medium green batiks. That being as specific as it is, I'm thinking I'm going to be a little light in my haul.

Keep your fingers crossed for me.

I have some of those same fat quarters and all 3 of the batik fabric bundles. :) Too bad we couldn't go shopping together. We have the same taste in fabric. :)

Joann's sales are awesome. Sometimes their fat quarters go on sale for 99 cents each. I always go and stock up! For only a buck you can get some you don't actually have a plan for, but they might come in handy some day!

Those fat quarters are just so appealing. It's getting so that I can't go to any fabric store and walk past the fat quarters without picking up one or two. What is the appeal anyway???? Recently, I did use one I bought at Joann's for a quilt only to run out. (not a good thing) I've looked in numerous Joann's here in CA only not to find anymore. Fortunately, though, there is always another way or variation to make any quilt---no quilt police. So now, I've decided to buy more than enough of any fabric I want to use. (and I'm helping the economy, good idea, don't you think?)
    LOL
