    Default West virginia star

About 30 years ago I took a class from a woman, Martha Offutt, from Fairmont WV... She shared that she had designed a quilt block called the West Virginia Star... and it had been published in a magazine (I got fleeting glimpse)... I have been unable to find this pattern... CAN ANY ONE HELP????

I suggest doing a google image search for the block (include the name and the designer's name) and seeing if any of the images look right. The link to the image may lead you to the pattern.

also, this quilt guild lists Martha Offutt as a teacher at their quilt show a couple of years ago. if the above star is not the one you are looking for, maybe you can contact Martha through the quilt guild

Strawberry - someone posted a response in the chat room within minutes when you asked the question several days ago.... ... when you google that lady;s name, she is active in quilting on several web sites.. i would contact her thru that and ask her where you can find that block pattern of hers... she is the one who would know for sure LOL
