    Cool Westcott titanium rotary blades

Has anyone used these blades? Bought them at Walmart and thought they might fit in my Olfa rotary cutter but I can't tell by looking at the blades without opening the package. I called the customer service number on the Westcott package but he did not seem to know much about it except to say no you need to get the Westcott rotary cutter. He asked me if Olfa was another of their products? What?

From their website it looks like they market to scrapbooking people rather than fabric loving quilters. Therefore I'm wondering how good these blades are on fabric.

How odd they had such a product-ignorant employee in customer service!! Must have been a summer hiree, surely.

Westcott usually makes office supply items, so I think Jan has the right idea that it is for scrapbooking or something other than fabric. Customer service was a "he," and sometimes they only know one thing and are not all that inquisitive about options. IMHO Whereas quilters are always looking for options and better ways to do things.

I bought the Clauss Titanium 45mm blades at Walmart and they fit my Olfa cutter. [h=2][/h]

Thanks to all for the input. I think I will just return them and look for the Clauss brand. My Walmart has a very small selection of sewing items. So much for impulse buying. Oh well another excuse to go shopping. :-)

I have several different sizes of the Westcott titanium scissors and I love them!!!!!

Haven't tried the rotary blades yet, but only because I don't need any blades right now.
