I am leaving this afternoon for Ft. Campbell, KY. A friend is having surgery and I am going to drive her and help with her kids. I won't be home until Friday night. I just finished a quilt (for her) yesterday. I don't have another project started and no hand work to do so I will be taking a book with me to read! Today will be the first day since the first of the year that I have not set down at my sewing machine! I don't quite know what to do with myself! lol

By the way I will have pictures of the quilt when I get back!

Take the time to search out new patterns, design your own quilt tops. It's only for a few days and the kids I'm sure will keep you busy.

Have a safe trip and good wishes and prayers for your friends surgery.

Bless you for helping your friend and her family. I am sure you will keep busy and it is more tiring then you may think. i would enjoy a quilt book or magazine and do some dreaming about the next quilt you will make.

Cuddle up with some quilting magazines for inspiration!

Time will pass quickly because you will be busy. Very kind of you to help a friend, that makes you and your quilt priceless.

There are 2 Wal-marts in the Ft. Campbell area and there is a Hancock's Fabrics in Clarksville.

Good wishes for your friend! Take the time off to read and clear your mind so when you get back you are up and ready to go again!!!
