    I generally use Hobbs 80/20 in placemats. It washes so wonderfully well. I have a set that goes in the wash about weekly and they still look great. I wash them with towels and dry them in the dryer. I have had them for about three years.

    I use either flannel double layered or non-fusible fleece.
