    Same thing I learned when putting up crown molding and decorative trim around my house - measure, measure, and measure again before you cut.

    My Viking is at the top of my list too, but just under the wonderful rotary cutter and cutting mat.

    In addition to Rotary cutter - the Harbor Freight Blades....love...love...love them!
    I agree 100% on the blades. Much sharper than others.

    hmm...rotary cutter, mat, 505 spray, Accuquilt Studio, dies, sewing machine, rulers...oh how I love the all...and best of all finding this quilting board!

    The best gadget ever..the computer. The computer allows me to create (EQ), to read about new gadgets, to communicate with other quilters...I just don't know what I'd do without it.

    Finding out I had a 1/4" foot for my sewing machine. It has made a great difference in consistent seams.
