My customer brought me several antique quilts to repair and quilt and bind. I could give her the names of most of them but I don't have a clue to the name of this block. Do you know its name?

It has parts that look like they are constructed like an attic window, only they've put the 4 mitered corners together to form a cross or plus in the middle. But if it has a special name, I don't know it either.

It looks a lot like a repeating crosses block that I've seen. I'm not sure if it technically is, though.

Looks like the quiltmaker adapted the pattern and took several seams out of it

Only some of the blocks are Nelson's victory.

This is a nelson's victory. Nothing says it has to have different colors on the miter.
