    Default What block or quilt are these rulers for

    Well the title says it all. I got these rulers, no pattern or block with them, from somebody who got them from someone else. Do you know the layout of the quilt these are used for or any info about them? On the rulers is printed 2008 Cathie Hoover Studios. As you see in pic they are numbered 1-6. Appreciate any info about a quilt, block or pattern setting.-Toogie

    You might want to reach out to her and see if she can help. I don’t see anything but classes on her website, so perhaps it is part of a workshop that she presented ?

    I looked at her website. If you look under workshops, there is one that says “make a wild and crazy quilt”. Looks like it has all the parts to go with the rulers you have

    Thank all of you so much. I don’t think I am that wild and crazy yet, just not my taste. Maybe I can figure something else out with them or use reads as solids prints. Maybe it’s just too modern for me.

    It looks like you could use them for the Drunkard’s Path blocks. There are lots of different arrangements for Drunkard’s Path blocks.

    To me, it looks like half of it is a quarter of a Drunkard’s Path and a quarter of a string quilt. It might be interesting after all to see the different layouts one could come up with. It can’t be done for a while though. I’m just dreaming right now. As soon as therapy for my arm is better I’m going to start piecing full speed-lol I have a list!!!
