Those scrappy triangles are super cute! I'll be printing some paper foundations soon. Thanks for sharing everybody!
I forgot about a murder mystery BOM I signed up for around Christmas. It's around $30 for the year, you supply your own fabric. I know there are lots of free programs, but $30 is ok to me for taking a chance on something I've never tried. I'm a Dateline/true crime/ID channel loving fool and couldn't pass it up.
It's a murder mystery quilt that comes with monthly chapters of a murder mystery and a block to make with each chapter. I just found the fabric requirements and now I have an excuse to go batik shopping before I can start. They've done more traditional looking quilts in the past but this one is calling for buttons and beads and other doo-dads so I'm guessing it's pretty artsy fartsy compared to what I normally do. I'm looking forward to it!
They do have an affiliate program but I am not participating in that. I'm just sharing what I found!

I follow Barbara Brackman's blog Material Culture and she is redoing her sampler from 2012 called "Grandmother's Choice" which celebrated the suffrage movement in the US - blocks are 8" from her Block Base program. It is is still available, free and is a weekly quilt along with 49 blocks
Her updated version celebrating the 100th anniversary of the passage in the US Constitution the right for women to vote will be 12" blocks. She set up 2 FB groups to follow along. As in her usual style she adds lots of historical info & pics of the time period. This is also a weekly quilt along and free.
I do not have any affiliation or connection with BB other than following her blog - it does look interesting!
