Default what color binding would you use?

Thank you to everyone's responses about using the tshirt scraps to bind a quilt. I think I will be using cotton. I will just have to break down and buy something if I need to. ha ha

But I am wondering about what color to bind this with. I have plenty of the black from the outer border that I could use. I am just wondering if a different color would be better?

This is for a college senior daughter of a coworker. Any thoughts? the gold? the pink? Or just stay with the black?

Cute quilt and I would probably bind it in black.

I agree. Black would be fine.

Great quilt! I too vote for black, but the yellow would also look nice if your so inclined to go fabric shopping.

I'd use the same yellow/gold and use a different topstitch pattern on the border than in the middle - it would frame the quilt quite nicely.

Looks like a vote for black is unanimous so far - that is my thought as well!

Besides... you already have the black! Think of all the time you would need to take to shop for something else - and hiw much trouble you could get in at the quilt shop!!! In the time you did that you could already have the quilt bound, done and on to the next work of art! Great job!

My first reaction was the yellow/orange to frame the frame. But the more I look at it, I wonder if that would compete. What color is the backing?
