My old one was a soft green. Here my brother had just painted the walls so I couldn't repaint. Its a blue grey .The kind of color that changes depending on the light. I figure its neutral enough I can deal. My bedroom here is a soft green now.

Mine is Bright wear your shades green. It was my son's bedroom and when he left his space I was ready to take the space so I moved all my stuff in before anyone else could take the space lol. I have to say not my first choice but it grows on you.

Mine is a soft sage green and I LOVE it. It's soothing and relaxing and makes me feel good to be in there.

Mine is beige on top and light periwinkle on bottom. I have a chair rail between the colors. I love the lavenders, purples and periwinkles so that is what I have. It is soothing because the top part is beige. If I ever get the room done I may show a couple of pictures. I have more work to do.

I think you should paint it the color you are most comfortable around. White is cold and it drains color, orange shades are supposed to encourage creativity and is a warm color, soft cool shades calm you, red is energy, darker colors make you feel cozy. So it has to with how a color makes you feel. Good Luck with it.

Hi I am a retired commercial painter aqnd you should never use semi-gloss on interior walls/ceilings.It does not reflect light it absorbs it.Your best type is a satin finish, you can wipe it down if finger prints occur.Stay with the palest shade of your favorite color ,it will make the room seem larger and more inspiring for the creative juices
