What Color Would You Use?

I just made a baby quilt with the "Depression" pattern. I used all the colors of the rainbow, both pastel and bright. And then I used a swirly tonal in oranges, greens, blues, pinks as the border and binding. The back was a multi-colored stripe. It worked just fine. Besides which, when the child gets older and drags it all over the place it won't show the dirt that much!!!!!!

I am a newborn nursery RN. Please don't make the other quilt yellow. While they can be adorable, they also make the babies look jaundice. We all cringe when we see a baby wearing or wrapped in yellow. Does it have to be pastel? Some of the best looking baby blankets I have seen have big, bold colors. Newborns also see those colors better than the pastels. Virg
