We just painted it (floor is not installed yet either) but here is my future sewing room. It's Sherwin Williams Retiring Blue and I am in love with it. (it's also the same color in our kitchen and dining room and at least one bathroom will be that color too).

Mine is Cantaloupe Smile by Sherwin Williams. Our trim paint is off white, and really pops with the wall paint. I don't need to turn a light on during the day in this room, only at night. Think of the ripest cantaloupe you've seen and add some yellow - that's my room and I LOVE it!

The room where my machines are located is rubber-ducky yellow. Very cheery with shiny white cabinets. the room also serves as the laundry room. The room where my cutting table, ironing board, fabric, etc is located is a soft sage green. I love both rooms. And yes, I chose the yellow. LOL

Mine is still the same boring light blue that my son had when it was his bedroom...I would love to paint it...but the thought of emptying it out first is way too scary. Would paint it a pale purple.

Mine is a soft bright yellow also. I love the brightness of it and when I walk in the room it is a very cheerful feeling. I wouldn't change it for anything.
