Cindi, This is the cleanest quilting/sewing room I have ever seen! Are you sure you quilt in there??? Just kidding...it's a beautiful room. Wish mine looked like it. Debbie B

My room is my son's old bedroom. 10' X 12' and is packed...fabric on shelves & in containers, table & chair for sewing machine, vintage sewing machine in cabinet (keep small ironing board & iron on top of it), small dresser for storage & used for my cutting surface and a frame & Juki. The walls are painted gold with white blinds & white valances on the windows. I have had the color for a few years & I'm really tired of it.

When we moved here a year ago the bedroom that is now my sewing room was fire-engine red. That was quickly covered up with 3 coats of pale peach and I just love it.

Mine is a pale green with white trims. My room is located in my basement so there are no windows but lots of fluorescent lighting and white linoleum floor. It is quite cherry.

My favorite color, lavender, is the color of my sewing room. I love my hide a way!

Debbie, I must admit, I thoroughly clean my sewing room between each and every quilt. I'm a "one quilt at a time" kinda girl. That means dusting, sweeping, cleaning my machine, and putting everything away. I just can't start another quilt until the other one is "gone"! But, trust me, more often than not it looks like this!

I transformed my DD's old room when she moved out in Feb. She had three lime green walls and a purple accent wall. Totally her personality.

i repainted in a soft yellow called Custard Cream by Behr. Absolutely love how cheerful it makes me. Calm and creative.

How about you? I love studying the psychology of color.
I don't really sew in here-------but it's the same walls and nasty carpet as when DD moved out ages ago.

Mine is painted a Robins-egg blue with white moulding. It is all mine and I love it. I have a day bed in there and my own TV. I made the window curtains and coverings for my sewing machine tables.. I would post a picture but it is a bit messy right now!
