Welcome to the board. Did you leave your email on the post? If so then it was removed because it's not safe to do that. Next time just a private message to the person. A lot of sellers won't respond unless the offer to buy is in a Pm. I'm sorry this happened to you.

Hi - and welcome -
1) Did you send a PM (Personal Message) to the seller?
If I suggested in my ad to send a PM to me - that is where I will look for responses first - in my Private Messages - and I may or may not look in the ad itself for responses.
2) You may not have been the first responder - in some cases, I have had a response within SECONDS of putting up an ad - even before I had put everything in/on it. :D
(In other cases, the offering just languishes there - )
3) If you put your e-mail address in your posting, it may have been removed - possibly before the original poster may have seen it. E-mail addresses are routinely removed from postings (unless you are running a business or something like that) for security/safety of the members.
4) Keep watching the classifieds - members are always posting something - you may come across the same thing for a lower price - or something that will work better.
