I've never been in the new one here. It's next to the JAF, so maybe I'll stop by tomorrow.

I forgot too. Our store is about 30 miles away, but tomorrow is my birthday, so maybe I will go buy myself some gifts? Lol

anyway...they have a small selection of quilty stuff. I did by four different fonts Alphabet on Freezer Paper...soemthing I dont really need but will come in handy some day. It was June Taylor. Didn't see any F & P

I go to a lot of different Tuesday Morning stores. Everyone has different quilting/needlework items. And many of the stores seem cluttery. I have found the quilting notions in different places at each store. Most are in baskets on the bottom shelf. The store never knows what inventory is coming in and most just stick the small items anywhere there is room.

In a few months the scissors will be on the clearance shelf again and I'll buy them. I also bought all the yellow headed quilters pins in the package bundles (three packages per bundle). All of F&P sewing machine needles and all the packages of template plastic sheets. I didn't get there until right at closing and the manager said no one had bought any of the quilting notions. I give these as gifts to my quilting friends and for the guild sale table.
I also bought much of the same stuff as you. I got all the yellow head pins, three rulers, template plastic and charm packs. I found a quilt kit with 6 yards of fabric left in a different part of the store. It is some of the same fabrics I had got at Walmart last year. The pieces are cut for a pattern that was included so each piece is a different size. The largest piece which is my favorite is 3+yards. The kit was $9.99 and here is a pic

If you're looking specifically for a F&P seam ripper try Joann's-either I used a 50% off coupon or it was one of the weeks that F&P stuff was 50% off; got it for $2.50 rather than the usual $5.00. Maybe not as inexpensive as TM, but I rarely shop TM as it is much farther away and a nuisance to get to.

I went to 2 of them on Wed. as I had to work all day Tues. Found 2 charm packs of 100 5", 7 fat quarter packs and all kinds of other stuff. Of course I had a coupon for $5 off if you spend $30...Do you think I remembered to bring it? NO!!
