I made two purses/handbags, one for guild boutique for our quilt show in January, one I was commissioned to do for a client after she saw purse I made for DD2, an apron, finished wallhanging for my mothers Christmas gift and a tote bag for a friend.

I finished an eye spy baby quilt for my daughter and gave it to her Sunday at her baby shower. Now I am tatting ornaments for Christmas gifts. Bad year money wise but I can get these done without spending money.

I started piecing the top to my very first quilt back in September or October. Since then, I have had very little time to work on it. But I got busy Saturday and Sunday. I have only 3 more strips to sew (probably about an hour's worth of work if I don't screw up!) I am very excited about it. When I finish putting it together, I'll post a picture. It does have quite a few issues. But it is for my bed, so it is not like anyone will be inspecting it. And since it is my first, I will just chalk it up to a learning experience. After I finish piecing the top, I don't know what the next step is. My friend who is my mentor is out of town until a few days before Christmas. And I won't have much time between now and then anyway. So I will put it on hold until she gets back.
In the meantime, I have been looking at other patterns. I'm fascinated by the D9P and I might cut some fabric and see where that leads.
I have really learned a lot reading this board every day.

I haven't had time to make anything in a while but I'm hoping to start working on my next pinwheel quilt soon! I'm looking forward to giving it to a girlfriend who's going through a hard time. Not sure if it will help but quilts always put a smile on my face!

Found a gorgeous Woodland Christmas panel (brand new) in a box of "quilting stuff" from the thrift store. I sandwiched it with really thick batting and FMQ and it turned out so pretty!

I worked on my dresden plates, sewing the blades together on my treadle...since my electric machine won't act right! Also worked on my pincushion gifts for our quilt group get together in a two weeks.

I made nothing for myself, but cut 2 laptops out for my DSIL who just had rotator cuff surgery. Went home feeling good about helping someone else...now it is time for me...and I am working on a baby quilt.

I finished the rag turtle quilt that I saw on Homespun's post awhile back, about 20 Christmas cards, pulled out pink scraps for a scrappy heart quilt, and helped some w/ Thanksgiving dinner. DH is the chef around here, I just help clean up a bit! Lucky me!
